Accounts Payable Specialist II

Overview

The Accounts Payable Specialist II processes and verifies invoices in a timely manner across multiple systems while providing responsive customer service to vendors, employees, and others with accounts payable inquiries.

This organization provides pediatric specialty care through hospitals, outpatient clinics, ambulatory care centers, and outreach locations worldwide. Care is provided to children up to age 18 regardless of their family’s ability to pay or insurance status.

This is a remote position, but the selected candidate must be based within a drivable distance of the Tampa, FL facility due to occasional in-office work for projects, meetings, and other needs.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable from start to finish, including vendor invoices, check requests, and expense reports with complex coding across multiple companies in the US, Canada and Mexico
• Assist with Treasury Management functions by entering daily wires and EFT’s in a timely manner for retirement-related payments, medical and dental claims, hospital drawdowns, payroll taxes, and other payments
• Maintain payables records and related computer spreadsheets and paper files as needed
• Respond to accounts payable inquiries from vendors, employees, and other stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of start-to-finish Accounts Payable experience
• Experience with MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook
• HS Diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Accounts Payable and PO modules in Infor or a similar ERP
• Experience with Add-in tools and the Onbase document imaging solution

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $21.96 - $32.94
• Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity
