Accounts Payable Specialist II, Facilities

Overview

A healthcare organization specializing in pediatric specialty care is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist II to join their team. This role involves processing and verifying invoices efficiently across multiple systems and providing excellent customer service to vendors and employees regarding accounts payable inquiries. The position is remote but requires proximity to the Tampa, FL area for occasional in-office work.

Responsibilities

• Manage start-to-finish accounts payable processing, including vendor invoices, check requests, and expense reports with complex coding affecting multiple companies across the US, Canada, and Mexico
• Assist in Treasury Management by entering daily wires and electronic funds transfers (EFTs) for retirement payments, medical and dental claims, hospital drawdowns, payroll taxes, and other related transactions
• Maintain accounts payable records, including computer spreadsheets and paper files as necessary
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of comprehensive accounts payable experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Accounts Payable and Purchase Order modules in ERP systems such as Infor or similar platforms
• Familiarity with add-in tools and document imaging solutions like OnBase
