Accounts Production Administrator

Overview

This role involves preparing and updating financial statements using Caseware, based on financial information provided by the team. You’ll follow clear guidance and timescales, maintain quality in your work, communicate progress, and ask questions when anything is unclear. Full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update financial statements using Caseware, based on financial information provided.
• Perform iXBRL tagging of financial statements using the appropriate software.
• Follow training materials and guidance, completing tasks within recommended timeframes.
• Communicate clearly on the status of work and ask questions when something is unclear.
• Liaise with stakeholders to obtain information needed to complete assigned tasks.
• Manage your own time and workload effectively across assigned tasks.
• Take responsibility for the quality of your own work and make good use of available resources.
• Accurately record time on timesheets.
• Take responsibility for your own goals and targets.

Requirements

Essential

• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent), grade C/4 or above.
• Comfortable using everyday IT systems, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to manage your own time and work to deadlines.

Desirable

• Previous experience using Caseware.
• A background in accounting or finance.

Training and Development

• Full training is provided.
• No formal accounting qualification or training contract is required.
• Applications are welcomed from candidates with no prior Caseware or accounting experience.
