Overview
The organization is seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist (associate level) to support travel-agency network operations, leisure products, agency support, partner coordination, reservations, and customer service. This role is accounts- and receivables-focused, with emphasis on accurate financial records, reconciliation, and exception handling. Completed work should clearly reflect:
- What source was used
- What changed
- What remains open
- Who owns the next action
Responsibilities
- Reconcile discrepancies and support timely, traceable resolution within travel-agency network operations, leisure products, agency support, partner coordination, reservations, and customer service.
- Track unresolved financial exceptions and ensure each exception remains traceable and assigned to an authorized owner.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation supporting financial record maintenance and audit support.
- Protect confidential account information throughout the accounts receivable workflow.
- Review financial inputs against supporting records to confirm accuracy and determine whether items can close, require follow-up, or must be moved to an authorized owner.
Success Standard
Success means financial records, reconciliation, and exception handling remain accurate and usable under the demands of travel-agency network operations, leisure products, agency support, partner coordination, reservations, and customer service. Repeated errors should become visible, exceptions should have owners, and another authorized teammate should be able to verify work state without reconstructing its history.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a traceable accounts receivable workflow supporting reconciliation and exception handling across travel-agency network operations, leisure products, agency support, partner coordination, reservations, and customer service.
- Competence in maintaining evidence, owners, and deadlines while performing variance analysis.
- Strong judgment around reconciliation, including knowing when escalation is necessary rather than making assumptions.
- Ability to document workflow decisions clearly enough for another teammate to follow the reasoning.
- Confidence applying confidentiality requirements when handling account information.
