Accounts Receivable Specialist

Overview

• Remote: Fully remote

This role supports the organization’s real estate operations by ensuring tenant receivable activity is accurately recorded and that billing and payment processes for assigned properties are completed on time. The position is important for maintaining financial accuracy and supporting cash management.

Responsibilities

• Record tenant receivable activity in the designated accounting system.
• Input data, generate reports, and conduct research using office automation systems.
• Process tenant billings and payments according to established policies.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Coordinate cash management activities.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in accounting or business.
• 1–2 years of progressive accounts receivable or accounting experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and accounting software (YARDI preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in high-volume accounts receivable environments.

Compensation & Benefits

• Approximate pay range: $25.59 to $28.50 per hour
• Pay is determined by work location and factors such as skills, experience, and education.
