Overview

This role supports two platforms: a global knowledge sharing platform with over 300 million monthly unique visitors, and a platform providing millions of users access to a variety of AI language models. The finance team manages FP&A, accounting, and tax functions for both platforms, focusing on integrating AI into financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, operate, and enhance AI-driven automation for FP&A processes including forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, variance analysis, and month-end close workflows.
  • Manage tax operations by monitoring obligations and deadlines, maintaining schedules and workpapers, and building automation to ensure continuous compliance.
  • Integrate ERP, spend management, equity, HRIS, and CRM systems with AI agents, integrations, and scripts to eliminate manual and repetitive finance tasks.
  • Design and implement new AI systems and automations to expand finance function capabilities.
  • Document all developments, maintain reliability and auditability, and support the finance team in increasing AI proficiency.

Requirements

  • Availability for meetings and communication during coordination hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-3pm Pacific Time.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of corporate finance or FP&A experience, including forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, and month-end close.
  • Proven hands-on experience building AI tooling such as agents, LLM-powered workflows, and automations that operate real processes in production.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and advanced spreadsheet proficiency.
  • Self-motivated with a strong action orientation, capable of working autonomously in a lean, remote-first team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in corporate finance within a technology company.
  • Familiarity with Claude, Claude Code, and MCP integrations.
  • Knowledge of tools such as NetSuite, Ramp, Carta, BambooHR, Salesforce, and Google Workspace (specific systems are learnable).
  • Experience working across ERP, spend management, equity, HRIS, CRM, and data warehouse environments.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary for US-based candidates ranges from $80,190 to $186,375 USD plus equity and benefits.
  • For candidates in Toronto and Vancouver, Canada, salary ranges from $102,965 to $191,447 CAD plus equity and benefits.
  • For other locations in Canada, salary ranges from $96,101 to $178,684 CAD plus equity and benefits.
