Associate, Strategic Finance

Overview

This role supports financial planning, analytics, and business insights across Corporate, Operations, and Technology. You will partner with Finance leadership on business reviews, full-year projections, and strategic planning with business leaders, including creating reporting and analysis that improve visibility into spending patterns and projections.

Responsibilities

• Craft recommendations using a data-driven approach combined with business intuition to support pricing decisions that influence growth and bottom-line outcomes
• Build models and tooling that generate business insights, including competitive intelligence and scenario modeling
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Regional Leaders, Plan Design, and Sales teams to develop portfolio strategy for each market
• Identify and research profitability tradeoffs, market trends, and membership insights to inform company-wide strategic decisions
• Source, organize, and analyze data to support strategic programs
• Monitor key metrics and identify trends across the ACA landscape to inform tactics during selling season
• Report intra-year membership analytics to leadership to assess business health
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Actuarial, or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of finance experience, including experience in Healthcare, Consulting, Insurance, or Financial Services
• 2+ years of experience with Google products (Sheets, Docs, and Slides) or Microsoft products
• 2+ years of experience working with C-level executives

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA in finance or MS in Financial Analysis
• Experience in managed care, healthcare, or insurance
• Proficiency in SQL/BigQuery to analyze large datasets
• Proficiency working with NetSuite and Adaptive

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay: $96,876 - $127,149 per year

Location

Remote position for candidates who reside in: Atlanta, GA. Fully remote; future work models may include hybrid presence at a hub office associated with your metro area.
