Overview
The Audit Senior will lead and assist with audits, ensuring compliance with accounting and auditing standards and regulations while maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with audits of clients' financial statements and internal controls
- Prepare and review audit workpapers and financial statements
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and resolve audit issues
- Assist with training and mentoring junior staff members
- Stay up-to-date with accounting and auditing standards and regulations
Requirements
- CPA eligible
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Not-For-Profit (NFP) organizations
- Familiarity with Employee Benefit Plans (EBP) audits
