Overview
A leading ETF investment technology platform is seeking a Senior Fund Administrator to join their team. The organization specializes in creating, operating, and growing ETFs by providing comprehensive ETF solutions including strategic guidance, product planning, trust and fund services, legal support, operations, marketing, research, and sales and distribution.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance, training, and development for fund administration staff.
- Assist in managing daily fund accounting oversight, including NAV review.
- Coordinate with third-party service providers such as administrators, fund accountants, custodians, auditors, and legal counsel to support fund operations.
- Review financial statements, board reports, and regulatory filings including Forms N-PORT, N-CEN, 24f-2, N-PX, and N-CSR, whether prepared internally or by external providers.
- Prepare and review fund expenses and accruals, including fee waivers and related expenses.
- Assist and review new fund launches, including operational setup, vendor onboarding, and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams across compliance, legal, capital markets, and client services.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes and controls.
- Assist with regulatory exams, internal audits, and due diligence reviews.
Requirements
- Five to seven years of related work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; MBA is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to shift priorities quickly and effectively.
- High proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in fund administration, ETF operations, or financial services.
- Specific experience and knowledge of SEC regulatory requirements for funds.
