Billing Coordinator

Overview

The organization is seeking a Billing Coordinator to support accurate and timely processing of work orders and invoices. This role helps maintain billing accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and support service delivery and financial operations by managing data integrity, collaborating with internal teams, and prioritizing billing issues.

Responsibilities

• Verify and correct work order costs and revenue to ensure accuracy
• Follow billing protocols required by the organization and its clients
• Enter materials used on work orders into the database, ensuring proper stock allocation
• Post and review customer invoices and supporting documentation according to client requirements
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in field data
• Collaborate with Service Managers, Purchasing, and technicians to address documentation or service issues
• Monitor and resolve unbilled work orders daily, prioritizing them according to management guidance
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• High attention to detail and consistent follow-through
• Billing experience preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive pay: $19 to $24 per hour ($39,520 to $49,920 annually)
• Paid time off (PTO): starting at 48 hours and increasing with tenure up to 168 hours
• Seven paid holidays annually
• 401(k) plan with a 5% employer match
