Capex Finance-Project Controls Analyst

Overview

A growing digital infrastructure organization is seeking a Capex Finance-Project Controls Analyst to support capital expenditure controllership. This role is critical in tracking, reconciling, and reporting capex activities, acting as a liaison between Finance and construction operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Track cost-to-date (CTD) against approved project budgets and identify variances for review.
• Reconcile purchase order (PO) and purchase request (PR) activity against general ledger (GL) actuals regularly.
• Ensure PO, PR, and change order (CO) submissions are complete, accurately coded, and within approved budgets.
• Support monthly capital expenditure reporting, including budget versus commitments versus actuals by project.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Project Controls, Construction Finance, Cost Accounting, or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Strong proficiency in Excel, comfortable managing reconciliations and high-volume transaction data.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both Finance and Construction/Operations stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work through ambiguity.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $65,000 – $78,500 annually.
