Overview
This role focuses on building and maintaining financial models and projections related to funding and capital raise activities, leveraging advanced technology (including AI). In addition to model development and working with large datasets, you will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of transactions across the capital stack—from strategy planning and execution to reporting and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain advanced financial models and tools to evaluate funding alternatives
- Partner with Credit, Data, and FP&A teams to support the development of new and existing capital markets activities
- Structure debt and equity strategies and evaluate capital structure decisions
- Set up tools to generate investor materials
- Present to investors and senior management
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, credit rating agencies, fintech, or asset management
- Proficiency in complex financial modeling and structuring of asset-backed securities and corporate financials
- Ability to present and articulate complex concepts to different audiences
- Ability to collaborate as a team player and work independently
- Strong structured and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent project management and organization skills
- Data analytics skills, including experience working with SQL, Python, and Excel
- Familiarity with AI solutions to improve operational efficiency
- Experience with innovative debt and equity strategies
- Interest in fintech and a drive to make an impact
- Strong math and quantitative analysis skills
- Excellent academic record and a desire to keep learning
Preferred Qualifications
Compensation & Benefits
- Target starting base salary range: $140,000 - $160,000
- Eligible for additional compensation through participation in annual incentive and equity programs
- Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role
