Certified Financial Advisor

Overview

This remote role is for Certified Financial Advisors, with consideration for both Certified Financial Advisor and Senior Certified Financial Advisor opportunities.

The position involves collaborating with experienced advisors and specialists across a retail division, helping clients stay focused on long-term goals through disciplined investment approaches, tax management strategies, and personalized financial planning guidance.

Responsibilities

• Establish, grow, and maintain long-term relationships with clients
• Partner with investors to plan for financial goals
• Provide disciplined investment approaches, tax management strategies, and additional financial planning support
• Develop personalized investment strategies and deliver financial planning guidance for the moments that matter

Qualifications

• Certified Financial Planner® designation required
• Series 7, 63, or 66 (or the ability to acquire within 3 months of assuming the position)
• Advisory experience requirements:
  • Three years for Financial Advisor
  • Five years for Senior Financial Advisor
  • Experience specifically in advice planning, book of business management, and relationship management
• Demonstrated experience managing a book of business with a track record of client satisfaction and loyalty
• Experience applying trust and estate planning knowledge to help preserve clients' wealth
• In-depth knowledge of financial planning, investment strategies, and industry regulations
• Positive and resilient change agent who fosters collaboration as both a peer and business partner

Special Factors

• Designated as remote and must be performed within Florida
• Employees are expected to maintain their primary work location within the Tampa metropolitan area
• Preference for residing within a 50-mile radius of Tampa, unless otherwise approved
• Attendance at periodic in-person meetings, team events, training sessions, or other business-related travel may be required
• Visa sponsorship: not offered for this position
