Overview

This role involves leading cross-functional processes and managing timelines to ensure clinical trial contract proposals and budget modifications are completed accurately throughout the project lifecycle. It is a full-time, fully remote position available to candidates located in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer information from requests for proposals (RFPs) and contract modifications to ensure adequacy for budget preparation.
  • Lead calls with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones to clarify customer requirements and define proposal or contract modification strategies.
  • Manage simultaneous proposals and contract modifications for clinical trials under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with an international cross-functional team to handle multiple budget proposals and contract modifications concurrently.
  • Oversee the proposal bid and budget negotiation process by analyzing client requirements and internal data to determine resource and budget allocations.
  • Prepare and enter budgets into bidding systems, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery according to strict deadlines.
  • Finalize client-facing documents after securing internal approvals, performing quality control edits for accuracy, formatting, and compliance.
  • Ensure proposals and contract modifications accurately reflect strategy discussions, meet customer needs, maintain consistent messaging, and communicate value propositions.
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships throughout the budget negotiation or contract modification process to secure timely agreement and contract execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; no prior experience necessary.
  • Preferred fields of study include Business, Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines.
  • Ability to be an effective and respected partner to clients, consistently seeking customer satisfaction.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks while delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, comfortable discussing and proposing ideas with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, make decisions, and take ownership of projects.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to changing circumstances.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with intensive daily use of Excel and advanced formulas.
  • Confidence in handling critical information and making sound recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of financial budgeting principles.

Work Schedule and Environment

  • Standard Monday to Friday work schedule.
  • Office-based environmental conditions, though the position is fully remote within the United States.
