The Aerospace Defense and Marine (AD&M) business is a leader in developing and engineering a comprehensive portfolio of contactors, relays, sensors, fiber optics, wires, cables, antennas, circuit protectors, and moldings designed for harsh environments. This role supports the sales operations team by integrating sales and finance functions to drive efficiency and growth.
This position involves analyzing large data sets related to bookings, book-to-bill ratios, trend analysis, and pipeline analytics. The successful candidate will provide insights and key business indicators to influence organizational decisions and behaviors. Critical thinking and challenging existing practices to improve business results are essential.
Note: This role requires access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Responsibilities
- Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) booking forecasting and demand forecasting processes, including timing, input coordination, data validation, forecast upload support, and follow-up with commercial stakeholders.
- Provide analytics reporting on commitments accuracy and bias.
- Act as the primary commercial liaison to Commercial Finance for booking actuals, forecast reconciliation, bridge analysis, variance commentary, budget support, and monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
- Prepare and maintain booking bridge analyses explaining movements from prior forecasts, guidance, and actuals by region, customer, product family, program, market, opportunity, and other business drivers.
- Analyze bookings, forecast accuracy, bias, trend analysis, run-rate, pipeline sufficiency, conversion, and customer/segment performance to support sales leadership and operating cadences.
- Collaborate with sales leaders, account managers, regional commercial teams, demand planning, supply chain, product management, customer care, and finance to improve forecast discipline and strengthen the linkage between commercial input and demand signals.
- Support standard management operating system (MOS) routines such as Risks & Opportunities (R&O) calls, demand reviews, and forecast commitment meetings with clear analysis, pre-read materials, summaries, and follow-up actions.
- Prepare and support Sales Incentive Plans (SIP) in annual target setting and alignment with Commercial Finance.
- Utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools and support future enhancements to reports, processes, and tools incorporating AI capabilities.
- Maintain documentation, working instructions, reporting calendars, source-of-truth definitions, and reconciliation logic to ensure consistency, transparency, and cross-regional alignment.
Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in sales operations, commercial analytics, finance, demand planning, business intelligence, or a related analytical function.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of forecasting, pipeline management, booking/revenue metrics, commercial finance close processes, demand planning, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP)/Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) concepts preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to summarize, write, speak, and present confidently to diverse audiences, including senior management.
- Proactive problem solver capable of identifying root causes, recommending process improvements, and driving alignment around data accuracy, business ownership, and forecast accountability.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary range: $111,600 - $139,500 (subject to change based on location and candidate experience).
- Total compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits.
