Consulting Senior Accountant

Overview

A fractional Senior Accountant position is available to support the accounting functions for various clients through an outsourced CFO and accounting services team. This part-time role offers flexible hours and involves working with growing enterprises to augment and streamline their financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Manage bookkeeping, cash management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Monitor and improve clients' internal controls
• Manage or assist with the implementation of accounting systems and processes

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience with full-cycle accounting and a solid understanding of GAAP
• Self-starter with an adaptable mentality
• Proficiency with various accounting software systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, MS Dynamics, etc.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work within budgets
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• CPA license or licensing in process preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. No visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Compensation & Benefits

• Anticipated base hourly rate: $30-$40
• Actual compensation depends on factors including education, skill set, experience, certifications, and work location
