Overview

This role involves driving day-to-day execution of M&A deals across the front half of the lifecycle—from sourcing and initial evaluation through diligence, negotiation support, and signing. You will build the valuation and synergy analysis behind each transaction, keep processes organized and on schedule, and translate analysis into clear recommendations for senior leadership. You will work closely with the Post-Merger Integration team to pressure-test the synergy thesis during diligence and support a strong handoff after close.

The position is fully remote (US) and reports to the SVP of Corporate Development.

Responsibilities

  • Build the financial models and valuation analysis that underpin each deal, including identifying and quantifying revenue and cost synergies.
  • Run the deal process on the execution side:
    • Manage the data room
    • Coordinate diligence workstreams
    • Schedule and prepare for meetings
    • Keep the timeline on track
  • Draft clear, decision-ready investment memos and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Support negotiations with analysis, structuring options, and materials to move deals toward signing.
  • Source and screen potential targets against the company’s strategy and investment criteria.
  • Partner with the Post-Merger Integration team during diligence to pressure-test the thesis and prepare a clean basis for post-close execution.
  • Maintain organization across multiple live deal processes using trackers, deal materials, and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in an M&A advisory group at a prominent investment bank, specifically on M&A deal execution.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with hands-on experience in deal mechanics, including:

  • Sharp, decision-ready written and verbal communication, including comfort presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
