Overview
This posting is for PST zone candidates only.
This Credit Analyst I role builds and maintains relationships with dealers by processing credit applications, answering questions, and providing strong customer service. You’ll work across departments to support volume and quality goals while developing underwriting skills to earn higher levels of decision authority.
Working Schedule
- 8:30am – 5:00pm PST (Monday – Friday)
- One late shift per week: 10:30am – 7:00pm PST
- One rotating Saturday shift per month: 6:00am – 2:30pm PST
Training Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 6:00am – 3:00pm PST (minimum 4 weeks)
Responsibilities
- Process new loan applications.
- Gather data to determine and evaluate credit risk.
- Underwrite in adherence with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate with dealers to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide information.
- Work with management to develop underwriting skills and achieve higher levels of decision authority.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current compliance and lending regulations.
- Work with management to develop understanding of company stipulation policy and assist with stipulation review on an as needed basis.
- Maintain existing business and develop new business by building strong dealer relationships.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, communication, marketing or related field OR 2 years’ experience in underwriting or lending.
- Must have professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer).
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: USD $21.00 – USD $22.00 /Hr.
