Director, Investment Business Analyst

Overview

This role involves leading business analysis efforts within investment initiatives for a reinsurance employer. Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis execution across assigned investment initiatives, ensuring requirements are complete and accurate
• Manage requirements elicitation, documentation, traceability, and approval processes throughout investment workflows
• Act as the primary liaison between investment stakeholders and technology delivery teams for assigned initiatives
• Support solution walkthroughs, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and facilitate business sign-off to confirm solutions meet business intent
• Lead, mentor, and manage performance of business analysis team members to reinforce accountability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in investment operations, business analysis, or technology delivery within an insurance company or similar organization
• 3+ years of experience leading teams or workstreams within large initiatives
• Strong ability to translate investment business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements
• Proven experience in business process documentation, analysis, and optimization within investment operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, PMP, CBAP, or equivalent
