    • Headcount planning
    • Revenue planning

    • Turning analysis into decisions with accountable owners
  • Partner with GTM and R&D leaders on pricing, unit economics, growth, infrastructure, and investment tradeoffs, bringing a whole-company perspective to cross-functional decisions.
  • Lead executive and Board financial reporting, including financial work supporting fundraising such as projections, scenarios, diligence, and maintaining a consistent narrative.
  • Improve Finance planning systems and workflows, including using Pigment and applying AI to accelerate reliable analytical work and build repeatable improvements into team operations.

Requirements

  • Experience independently owning company-wide FP&A and Strategic Finance in a growing technology business, with both corporate planning depth and meaningful business partnership.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify important business problems before being asked, develop a defensible point of view, and influence executives to act.
  • Proven record of hiring, developing, and leading a strong team, including creating leverage from a lean starting point.
  • Strong financial craft, including:
    • Driver-based forecasting
    • Integrated financial statements
    • Cash planning
    • Scenario analysis
    • Clear understanding of underlying assumptions
  • Strong executive communication skills, including preparing and defending recommendations for senior leadership and Boards.
  • Applied AI fluency, including the ability to demonstrate how AI is used in analytical work, validate outputs, improve recurring workflows, and coach others.
  • Experience improving planning systems, data quality, and operating processes (Pigment experience is current; comparable platform experience is relevant).
  • Sound judgment under ambiguity and a willingness to work directly in the details when required.
  • Enterprise SaaS experience, complex customer contracts, and experience supporting a significant financing or public-company readiness process are valuable; leaders from adjacent technology businesses with comparable operating complexity are welcome.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience specifically in enterprise SaaS environments.
  • Experience supporting a significant financing process or public-company readiness process.
  • Experience with complex customer contracts.
