Equity Analyst (KPI) - (Contractor)

Overview

This independent contractor role involves analyzing and compiling financial data from publicly listed companies, with a strong emphasis on tracking and interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs) to generate actionable insights on company performance. The analyst will help maintain the accuracy and integrity of the organization’s database, process customer data requests, and support new product initiatives related to financial data and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and compile financial data of publicly listed companies while tracking and interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs) to generate insights on company performance.
• Keep the database up to date on a quarterly reporting basis.
• Process customer company or data requests efficiently.
• Understand and update company data when financial reporting changes occur.
• Develop standardized KPI frameworks across industries.
• Assist with driving new data initiatives related to financial data and analytics.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Strong background in finance and accounting, preferably in financial reporting, financial analysis, and/or equity analysis.
• Proven ability to analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and market disclosures to extract KPIs.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP, Local GAAP, IFRS).
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to take initiative.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

• $1,200 – $1,500 USD per month (₱70,000 – ₱94,000 PHP)

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EDT/EST
