Overview
This role supports a foundational AI lab by partnering with experienced equity long/short analysts to help train a language model on professional presentation and slide deck tasks.
The work involves creating, evaluating, and refining AI-generated presentations and slide decks across core workflows, including:
- Investment pitch decks
- Position review one-pagers
- Portfolio review presentations
- Thesis memos with exhibits
- Quarterly LP letter materials
Responsibilities
- Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated presentations and slide decks for the workflows listed above
- Apply strong judgment and attention to detail to improve clarity, structure, and professionalism
- Provide feedback and refinements grounded in investment research and presentation best practices
Requirements
- 3+ years in a research or investing seat at a hedge fund or asset manager
- Track record of pitching ideas via written memos and decks to a PM or investment committee
- Expert-level PowerPoint and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail
Compensation & Benefits
- $100/hour
- Flexible commitment: 5–20 hours per week (or more if desired)
