Finance Business Analyst

Overview

• Location: Jersey City, NJ (100% Remote)
• Pay Rate: $42/hr
• Contract Length: 12 Months

A financial services organization is seeking a Finance Business Analyst to support their expanding team. This role involves working remotely and contributing to various finance-related projects.

Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings
• Document business requirements
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) / Post Implementation Validation (PIV)
• Deliver other ad hoc project-related tasks as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance within a financial institution
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting under IFRS accounting standards
• Understanding of internal controls over financial reporting
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA designation or equivalent
• Experience with Capital Markets businesses
• Familiarity with banking financial systems and related procedures

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $42
• 12-month contract
