Overview

This role sits at the intersection of data and finance. You will serve as the analytical engine behind go-to-market decisions, partnering with Sales, Customer Success (CS), Marketing, and Revenue Operations leadership to forecast the business, model go-to-market efficiency, and turn data warehouse queries into insights that guide where the organization invests.

The ideal candidate has experience in both data/analytics and finance/FP&A and can move comfortably between SQL analysis and financial modeling. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys hard problems and wants analysis to directly shape real decisions.

Responsibilities

  • GTM planning and reporting: Own annual and long-term planning across revenue, staffing, and resourcing for Sales, Marketing, and CS.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, CS, and Analytics leadership to align go-to-market spend and targets with the financial plan, and to model ongoing investment decisions.
  • Unit economics and GTM efficiency: Build and maintain models for CAC, LTV, payback, and sales/CS capacity and productivity; recommend where go-to-market spend should go based on model outcomes.
  • Data analysis: Design analyses, validate data and numbers, and answer questions that combine financial and operational data clearly and concisely.
  • Automation and efficiency: Automate recurring GTM reporting to accelerate the path from data to decision.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years spanning both a data/analytics role and a finance/FP&A role.
  • GTM planning/forecasting: 2+ years leading GTM or SaaS planning and forecasting (ideally at a high-growth SaaS or technology company).
  • Stakeholder influence: Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and guiding analytical projects (people management is a plus).
  • GTM/SaaS metrics: Hands-on experience with go-to-market or SaaS metrics including pipeline, bookings, ARR, CAC, LTV, payback, and sales efficiency.
  • SQL: Advanced SQL experience, with an emphasis on structuring data outputs into visualizations that answer a question.
  • Excel and modeling: Advanced Excel and strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Attributes: Fluent in both data and finance, curious about go-to-market, execution-oriented with strong ownership of accuracy and deadlines, AI-forward.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $160,000–$185,000
  • Equity: Comprehensive benefits
