  • Escalate disputed assignments, conflicting payment instructions, prior assignments, lien concerns, or refusal to acknowledge NOA.

Debtor Credit Report Review

  • Obtain and review commercial credit reports and other available credit information.
  • Assess credit scores, risk ratings, Days Beyond Terms (DBT), trade payment experiences, collections activity, liens, judgments, bankruptcies, business age, and operating history.

  • Review current exposure, payment performance, aging, concentration, credit reports, and other available information.
  • Recommend maintaining, increasing, decreasing, suspending, or terminating existing debtor limits, as appropriate.
  • Complete and retain required renewal documentation and escalate material adverse findings.

Ongoing Monitoring and Credit File Maintenance

  • Monitor debtor exposure against approved limits and report over-limit positions.
  • Review payment and aging trends for signs of deterioration, disputes, dilution, or concentration risk.
  • Maintain complete electronic credit files, including approvals, reports, verification records, NOA confirmations, renewals, and supporting correspondence.
  • Update debtor limits, review dates, notes, and status information accurately in the operating system.
  • Support internal audits, quality-control reviews, watch lists, and management reporting.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist senior credit personnel with special reviews, portfolio projects, and credit exception tracking.
  • Support Collections with credit-related debtor research and payment-performance information.
  • Assist in identifying potentially fraudulent, duplicate, fictitious, or otherwise questionable debtor information.
  • Maintain debtor renewal schedules and credit-related tracking reports.
