Overview
This role involves joining a cutting-edge Generative AI team focused on developing foundational AI models, specifically Large Language Models, with an emphasis on financial domain expertise. The position requires finance subject-matter experts to contribute real-world financial judgment and rigor to AI training data.
This is a W-2 employment opportunity through Cincinnatus LLC, with placement at a leading AI lab as part of their extended workforce.
Responsibilities
- Guide research and engineering teams to address knowledge gaps in financial reasoning, analysis, and decision-making.
- Design challenging, domain-relevant finance tasks and produce accurate, well-reasoned solutions based on real financial practice.
- Evaluate AI model outputs using structured rubrics and provide clear, written feedback on correctness, judgment, and reasoning quality.
- Develop and refine evaluation guidelines and scoring rubrics specific to finance tasks.
- Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of dedicated professional experience in finance fields such as investment banking, asset management, corporate finance, accounting/audit, corporate treasury, or financial planning & analysis. Generalist roles with peripheral finance exposure are not suitable.
- Professional finance credential required: CFA, ACA, ACCA, or CPA.
- Ability to commit reliably to at least 10 hours per week during weekdays.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills.
Contract and Payment Terms
- Engagement as an independent contractor.
- Fully remote role with flexible scheduling.
- Project duration may vary based on organizational needs and performance.
- Work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
- Payments are made weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
- Compensation ranges from $65 to $90 per hour.
