Finance Systems Analyst

Overview

Fully Remote position.

The organization operates in the healthcare industry, delivering patient care services across multiple facilities in central and southeastern Illinois. It integrates hospitals and a multispecialty provider group, supported by medical education programs that help develop future healthcare professionals.

This role supports enterprise finance and accounting applications related to costing, productivity, benchmarking, budgeting, and reporting. Responsibilities include system administration, testing, and analytics to ensure accurate financial data supporting financial decision-making and operational performance. The analyst also serves as a liaison between finance and operational departments, contributing to financial assessments, month-end processes, and analytical projects.

Responsibilities

• Support finance and accounting applications including administration, configuration, and maintenance
• Ensure data integrity and perform system testing
• Provide user support and training for financial systems
• Assist with financial projects using operational data analysis
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentations
• Support month-end close and variance analysis
• Collaborate with operational leaders as a financial liaison
• Maintain monthly financial reconciliations
• Assist with ad hoc analyses, proformas, and reporting requests
• Support accounting functions including contractual allowance reserve calculations and accrual identification
• Assist system accounting and regional finance teams as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation range: $26.41 per hour to $44.1 per hour
• Actual compensation depends on experience, qualifications, location, and other factors
