Overview
This role involves supporting the modernization and continuous improvement of finance processes, systems, data, and reporting capabilities. The Finance Transformation Analyst will collaborate with Finance, IT, Shared Services, and business stakeholders to drive initiatives that enhance efficiency, standardization, automation, data quality, and decision-making.
The position supports strategic finance programs including ERP implementations, Central Finance (CFIN), Group Reporting, financial close optimization, automation initiatives, reporting enhancements, and process harmonization efforts. It requires strong analytical, financial, and project management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions.
This is a remote position within the USA.
Responsibilities
- Support finance transformation initiatives aimed at improving business processes, controls, and operating efficiencies.
- Analyze current-state finance processes to identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, and automation.
- Document business requirements, process flows, operating procedures, and functional specifications.
- Assist in implementing best practices across Record-to-Report (R2R), Financial Close, Group Reporting, Intercompany, and other finance processes.
- Collaborate with Finance and IT teams on ERP and finance technology deployments.
- Support implementation and enhancement of solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, Central Finance (CFIN), Group Reporting, or similar platforms.
- Participate in system testing activities including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and deployment readiness assessments.
- Assist with data validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities during system implementations.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, commerce, or data analytics.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Systems (e.g., ERP, consolidation tools, supplementary financial systems), FP&A, Accounting, or Business Analysis.
- At least 5 years of experience executing finance processes such as financial close, consolidation, reporting, planning, or intercompany accounting.
- Minimum 2 years of experience performing reconciliation activities.
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting business process improvement or system implementation projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including Vlookup, Macros, Pivot Tables, and formula writing) with at least 5 years supporting data analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting business process improvement or system implementation projects involving SAP S/4HANA, Central Finance (CFIN), SAP Group Reporting, BW, SAC, or other finance technology platforms.
- Intermediate accounting knowledge and familiarity with GAAP reporting.
- Familiarity with AI tools and solutions for analytical tasks.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx, or similar reporting and automation tools.
- Relevant certifications such as CPA, CMA, PMP, CBAP preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in a matrixed global organization.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range: $96,000.00 - $192,000.00, dependent on skills, education, experience, and qualifications.
