Overview
A global technology company specializing in financial management solutions is seeking a Staff Financial Analyst to join its Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This role is critical in shaping the organization's financial strategy through planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. The Staff Financial Analyst will provide strategic, data-driven insights to influence high-level business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Execute Corporate FP&A processes including monthly close reporting, forecasting, current estimates, target setting, headcount forecasting, guidance development, and preparation of materials for the Board of Directors.
- Deliver comprehensive analytics to identify trends and insights that support informed decision-making to accelerate growth and improve financial outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, refine, and implement financial and operational processes aligned with corporate objectives.
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior business leaders by providing financial leadership, influencing decisions, and driving organizational change initiatives.
- Prepare and present clear, insightful reports and presentations tailored for executive audiences, effectively communicating complex financial information and strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in FP&A or equivalent roles within dynamic, fast-paced environments such as corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or analytics.
- Strong ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets and craft compelling narratives for executive audiences.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience leading strategic initiatives and organizational change.
- Technical proficiency in advanced Excel modeling and analytical problem solving.
- Familiarity with financial tools such as Hyperion Essbase is preferred.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related fields is required.
