Financial Analyst

Overview

A remote contract opportunity is available for a Finance Expert to design and evaluate financial workflows related to AI model performance in finance.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic, end-to-end financial workflows for AI model evaluation in finance.
• Grade agent performance on complex scenarios such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Develop scenarios for internal finance operations and corporate development, including M&A screening and synergy analysis.
• Evaluate AI models on tasks including DCF, LBO, merger modeling, and capital allocation memos.
• Work independently and asynchronously to enhance AI model performance in finance.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, buy-side, or Big 4 advisory; or an MBA with a finance concentration plus comparable experience.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following areas: financial modeling, valuation, management reporting, long-range planning, capital allocation, or diligence.
• Comfortable working with operating models, board decks, investment memos, and management reports.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate reasoning and decisions step by step.
• Interest in tackling long-horizon, challenging problem sets.

Compensation & Benefits

• Contract position paid hourly at $85–$130 per hour.
• Payment is made weekly via Stripe Connect.
