Overview

A growing SaaS company is seeking a Financial Analyst (FP&A) to join their Finance team. This role involves partnering with business leaders to enhance planning, forecasting, and financial analysis processes. The analyst will build driver-based financial models, analyze performance variances, and support strategic decision-making in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support monthly close, forecasting, and annual planning cycles
  • Develop and improve driver-based financial models covering bookings, revenue, headcount, and expenses
  • Analyze actual versus forecast variances and provide actionable insights on trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Create and monitor KPIs linked to core business drivers to improve performance visibility
  • Support analysis of revenue, utilization, and churn metrics to deepen business understanding
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for finance leadership
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation to scale FP&A capabilities
  • Work cross-functionally to enhance data integrity, reporting accuracy, and decision support

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems such as NetSuite and planning tools preferred
  • Ability to connect detailed data to broader business context and communicate insights clearly
  • Analytical mindset focused on business drivers and performance improvement
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with driver-based planning or SaaS metrics (e.g., ARR, churn, NDR)
  • Interest in automation, systems, and scalable finance processes
  • Strong business partnership skills with the ability to influence decisions beyond reporting
  • Continuous improvement mindset; familiarity with Lean or similar principles is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $61,500 to $102,700 (local currency)
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance
