Financial Analyst

Overview

This role supports the hospital’s fiscal operational functions, including detailed financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis of operational indicators to inform strategic decision-making. You will partner with administration, medical leadership, and fiscal services to gather, analyze, and interpret financial data, and to provide management reporting and insights.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support financial reporting and report-writing for hospital operational functions, including:
  • Budgeting
  • Financial reporting
  • Operational indicators
  • Provider incentive plans
  • Management report writing
• Assist in the development of business plans, profitability analyses, and feasibility studies.
• Prepare productivity reports and other management reports as requested by leadership.
• Collaborate with administration, medical directors, leadership, and fiscal services to gather, analyze, and report information needed for management actions.
• Participate in the operating budget process and variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate data loads into the financial reporting system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• Minimum of four years of relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and operational analysis.
• Proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience collaborating with diverse teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.
