Overview

This international financial organization (founded in 2016) is regulated by CySEC and the Central Bank of Cyprus. With over €350 million in assets under management, the group operates across Cyprus, the UAE, Switzerland, and the United States.

The finance team is growing and is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the CFO with financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across the group. This role involves building analytics and reporting infrastructure largely from scratch and owning the process end to end.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the CFO with financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting across multiple business lines.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Design and build dashboards that automatically pull data from source systems (1C, accounting platforms, banking/crypto platforms), reducing reliance on manual data entry.
  • Set up and maintain automated data extraction, cleansing, and reconciliation processes across systems to ensure data accuracy.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and materials for management, using clear and well-designed data visualization.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather data, analyze performance, and report on operational effectiveness.
  • Own recurring reporting including financial performance, budget variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Calculate transfer pricing and assess business unit efficiency.
  • Build data cubes and optimize data reporting structures for group-wide analysis, including consolidation across multiple business lines.
  • Use BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and SQL/Power Query for data visualization and automation.
  • Proactively identify manual processes that can be automated and implement solutions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role.
  • Recent, active experience (ideally within the last 2–3 years) in building reporting and analytics (not only managing a team).
  • Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel.
  • Practical experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar), Power Query, and/or SQL.
  • Comfort pulling and transforming data from multiple systems rather than relying on pre-built reports.
  • Experience with 1C is a strong advantage.
  • Genuine interest in using AI tools and automation in day-to-day financial work.
  • Ability to work independently: plan your own approach, know who to ask for what, escalate when needed, and deliver complete results without micromanagement.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple reporting deadlines across different business lines.
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience demonstrating reporting and analytics work such as dashboards, automations, and other practical outputs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary.
  • Annual performance bonus.
  • Access to Limassol offices, including daily drinks and snacks, and parking facilities.
  • 24 working days of paid annual leave, in addition to statutory public and bank holidays in Cyprus.
  • 14 working days of paid sick leave per calendar year.
  • Work permit sponsorship and full support with all related arrangements.
  • Opportunity to participate in corporate sports activities and events, and receive corporate gifts.

Location

  • Based in Limassol, Cyprus is preferred.
  • Remote candidates are considered for the right fit (CIS, Europe, Middle East).
  • An initial on-site visit is expected at the start, with periodic visits afterward.

Working Hours

  • 9:00 to 18:00.
  • Shorter day on Fridays until 16:30.
