Overview
The organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the CFO with financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across the group. This role involves building analytics and reporting infrastructure largely from scratch and owning the process end to end.
The employer operates across Cyprus, the UAE, Switzerland, and the United States. Over €350 million is managed in assets under management.
Responsibilities
- Assist the CFO with financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting across multiple business lines.
- Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Design and build dashboards that automatically pull data from source systems (1C, accounting platforms, banking/crypto platforms), minimizing manual data entry.
- Set up and maintain automated data extraction, cleansing, and reconciliation processes across systems to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare and present financial reports and management materials with clear, well-designed data visualization.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather data, analyze performance, and report on operational effectiveness.
- Own and deliver a range of reports, including financial performance and budget variance analysis, plus ad hoc reporting.
- Calculate transfer pricing and assess business unit efficiency.
- Build data cubes and optimize data reporting structures for group-wide analysis, including consolidation across multiple business lines.
- Use BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and SQL/Power Query for visualization and automation.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and implement solutions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role, with recent, active experience—ideally within the last 2–3 years—in building reporting and analytics (not only managing a team).
- Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Practical experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar), Power Query, and/or SQL; comfortable pulling and transforming data from multiple systems rather than relying solely on pre-built reports.
- Experience with 1C is a strong advantage.
- Interest in using AI tools and automation in day-to-day financial work.
- Ability to work independently: plan your approach, know who to ask for what, escalate when needed, and deliver complete results without micromanagement.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple reporting deadlines across different business lines.
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience demonstrating real examples of dashboards built, automations set up, and reporting/analytics delivered.
