Overview
An international financial organization founded in 2016 is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the CFO with financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across the Group. The role is focused on building analytics and reporting infrastructure largely from scratch, end to end.
The organization operates across Cyprus, the UAE, Switzerland, and the United States and is regulated by CySEC and the Central Bank of Cyprus.
Responsibilities
- Assist the CFO with financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting across multiple business lines
- Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning
- Design and build dashboards that automatically pull data from source systems (1C, accounting platforms, banking/crypto platforms)
- Set up and maintain automated data extraction, cleansing, and reconciliation processes across systems to ensure data accuracy
- Prepare and present financial reports and management materials with clear data visualization
- Collaborate with other departments to gather data, analyze performance, and report on operational effectiveness
- Own recurring and ad hoc reporting, including financial performance and budget variance analysis
- Calculate transfer pricing and assess the efficiency of business units
- Build data cubes and optimize data reporting structures for group-wide analysis, including consolidation across multiple business lines
- Use BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and SQL/Power Query for data visualization and automation
- Identify manual processes that can be automated and implement solutions
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role
- Recent, active experience (ideally within the last 2–3 years) building reporting and analytics (not managing a team that did so)
- Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel skills
- Practical experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar), Power Query and/or SQL; able to pull and transform data from multiple systems rather than relying on pre-built reports
- Experience with 1C is a strong advantage
- Genuine interest in using AI tools and automation in day-to-day financial work
- Ability to work independently: plan your approach, know who to ask for what, escalate when needed, and deliver complete results without being micromanaged
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple reporting deadlines across different business lines
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
