Overview
The organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the CFO with financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across the Group. This role involves building analytics and reporting infrastructure largely from scratch and owning the process end to end.
The Group operates across Cyprus, the UAE, Switzerland, and the United States and manages over €350 million in assets under management. The organization is regulated by CySEC and the Central Bank of Cyprus.
Responsibilities
- Assist the CFO with financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting across multiple business lines
- Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning
- Design and build dashboards that pull data automatically from source systems (1C, accounting platforms, banking/crypto platforms)
- Set up and maintain automated data extraction, cleansing, and reconciliation processes across systems to ensure data accuracy
- Prepare and present financial reports and management materials with clear data visualization
- Collaborate with other departments to gather data, analyze performance, and report on operational effectiveness
- Own recurring reports, including financial performance and budget variance analysis, as well as ad hoc reporting
- Calculate transfer pricing and assess the efficiency of business units
- Build data cubes and optimize data reporting structures for group-wide analysis, including consolidation across multiple business lines
- Use BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and SQL/Power Query for data visualization and automation
- Proactively identify manual processes that can be automated and implement solutions
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role
- Recent, active experience (ideally within the last 2–3 years) building reporting and analytics (not only managing a team)
- Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel proficiency
- Practical experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar), Power Query, and/or SQL
- Ability to pull and transform data from multiple systems rather than relying on pre-built reports
- Experience with 1C is a strong advantage
- Genuine interest in using AI tools and automation in day-to-day financial work
- Ability to work independently: plan your approach, know who to ask for what, escalate when needed, and deliver complete results without micromanagement
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple reporting deadlines across different business lines
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
