Remote · US · Canada Full Time
$98.3K – $135K/yr

Overview

This role supports go-to-market (GTM) leadership with a trusted view of spend, bookings, and renewals, and helps streamline planning as the organization scales.

The position is remote-first in the United States (BC & ON, Canada) and is full-time, permanent, and exempt (US Only). Reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Own the GTM expense plan and forecast, covering headcount and non-headcount spend; provide executive-ready commentary to Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leaders on variances, risks, and investment tradeoffs.
  • Manage GTM headcount planning and capacity, including hiring plans, ratios (such as quota-carrying reps to sales support), attrition, and early identification of forecast drift from targets.
  • Reduce manual effort in planning by improving Workday and Adaptive Planning workflows, removing manual tagging, and setting materiality thresholds to focus non-headcount forecast updates on spend that moves the outlook.
  • Own the single source of truth for ARR and ATR across Sales and Self-Serve models:
    • Audit ARR in Salesforce and the data warehouse
    • Document metric definitions
    • Resolve metric breaks with Revenue Operations, Data, and/or Accounting
  • Run monthly churn, renewal, and write-off reviews with GTM partners, preparing analysis, root-cause commentary, and forecast implications leaders use to make decisions.
  • Synthesize data from Salesforce, the data warehouse, Workday, and NetSuite into clear metrics, KPIs, and business narratives for GTM leadership.
  • Build cross-functional relationships across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and GTM to drive alignment without formal authority.
  • Automate recurring reporting using SQL, spreadsheets, and AI tools.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or public accounting.
  • Experience in SaaS or a subscription business is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including building models from raw data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working understanding of SaaS metrics including ARR, NRR, GRR, churn, and renewals, with the ability to trace them back to source data in Salesforce and the data warehouse.
  • Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leaders and translating financial results for non-finance audiences.
  • Accounting fluency, including accruals and the monthly close (CPA and Big 4 background preferred).
  • Ability to identify and fix manual work using SQL, spreadsheet automation, or AI tools.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to grow, including proactive adoption of AI and emerging technologies to improve outcomes.
