Financial Analyst

Overview

This role involves evaluating financial information and providing practical analysis to support planning, forecasting, and business decisions.

The position is fully remote for candidates located in the United States. Strong communication and organization are essential, along with the ability to work independently while staying responsive to teammates and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review source data for completeness and investigate inconsistencies before reporting.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with organized analysis and documentation.
• Prepare recurring financial reports and explain material variances or emerging trends.
• Build and maintain spreadsheet models used for planning and scenario analysis.
• Present financial findings in concise language that business stakeholders can act on.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, budgets, forecasts, and other financial information.
• Maintain clear documentation, provide timely status updates, and manage priorities responsibly while collaborating through shared digital tools.

Requirements

• Ability to organize detailed work while meeting recurring deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort working with financial datasets.
• Clear written communication and dependable remote collaboration.
• Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong quantitative reasoning and financial-analysis skills.
