Financial Analyst

Overview

This role is for a Financial Analyst supporting management reporting and recurring financial analyses. Success comes from organizing details carefully, checking work before it is shared, and communicating progress in a straightforward way.

Assignments may begin with incomplete context. You will confirm the objective, identify what information is available, and document assumptions that affect the result. When something does not reconcile, you will investigate it rather than forcing an answer.

Responsibilities

• Review calculations for consistency and traceability.
• Develop scenario comparisons for planning discussions.
• Summarize financial trends in straightforward language.
• Maintain documentation for recurring financial processes.
• Prepare recurring financial analyses and supporting schedules.
• Compare actual results with budgets and forecasts.

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ability to organize calculations so assumptions can be reviewed easily.
• Clear written communication and attention to numerical detail.
• Ability to distinguish confirmed results from assumptions or estimates.
• Strong spreadsheet skills and comfort working with financial data.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to share concise remote updates, ask specific questions, and maintain records that are understandable to other teammates.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $72,000-$80,000 per year
