Overview
A leading staffing and consulting firm specializing in accounting, finance, technology, and professional services is seeking a Senior Financial Systems & Automation Analyst. This fully remote consulting role supports a finance team undergoing systems modernization and process automation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, optimize, and maintain automated finance workflows using Microsoft Power Automate
- Identify manual finance processes suitable for automation and improve operational efficiency
- Develop scalable automation solutions across finance operations
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards for financial reporting, including interactive reports and executive dashboards
- Build financial data models to support business analysis and deliver actionable insights through data visualization
- Extract, validate, and analyze financial data from ERP systems, supporting data integrity and reporting accuracy
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams on system enhancements and improve financial reporting processes
- Analyze financial performance and operational trends, supporting revenue recognition, contract accounting, billing, and trade spend analysis
- Assist with revenue and contract accounting processes, reviewing billing data for accuracy and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Collect, clean, and validate financial data; maintain financial databases and reporting structures ensuring data consistency
- Partner with accounting leadership, finance teams, and technology teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Support finance transformation projects and identify opportunities to streamline financial operations
- Recommend automation and reporting enhancements to improve efficiency and support long-term finance modernization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3 to 7+ years of experience in accounting, financial systems, finance automation, and financial analysis
- Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Microsoft Power BI
- ERP experience required; SAP preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $68–$85 per hour, based on experience
