Financial Analyst
Overview
A leading provider of industrial maintenance solutions with operations in the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom is seeking a Financial Analyst to support multiple business units. The organization specializes in optimizing manufacturing operations by improving efficiency, reliability, and productivity through innovative maintenance services.
Responsibilities
- Challenge and influence forecast and budget processes at the business unit level
- Develop and enhance financial reports to support decision-making
- Support month-end close activities
- Assist operations teams in understanding fundamental accounting and finance principles
- Provide moderate-level financial analysis including scenario modeling and integration of non-financial metrics
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business unit leadership to ensure alignment and effective communication of financial insights
- Support development of financial strategies and contribute to process improvements
- Help ensure compliance with company policies and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and arrays
- Ability to train others in core accounting principles and deliver basic financial presentations
- Developing understanding of the business model and industry preferred
- Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, proactive mindset, critical thinking, ownership, and business acumen
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team environment
