Financial Analyst

Overview

A Mid-Level Financial System Analyst position is available to support the Navy at the Washington Navy Yard. This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities

• Respond proactively and reactively to short- and long-term requests from leadership.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver quality, timely products including communication strategies, briefs, point papers, and analysis.
• Work on strategic initiatives to assess program financial data and metrics.
• Make recommendations on gathering, filing, controlling, and maintaining data for rapid use.
• Perform moderately complex tasks independently and complex tasks with some guidance.
• Complete tasks on time and to satisfactory standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Department of Defense (DoD).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or an equivalent field.
• Experience with SharePoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel.
• Proactive approach and excellent customer service skills with management experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to maintain it.

Preferred Qualifications

• Earned Value Management (EVM) certification or equivalent Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Cost Estimating credential.
• Military-friendly background.

Compensation

• Estimated starting pay range: $65,000 to $74,000 annually.
• Actual offer may vary based on experience, education, skill level, market factors, and contractual requirements.

Location

• Position supports the Navy at the Washington Navy Yard but is fully remote.
