Overview
A Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst role is available with a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $125,000 plus incentives. This position supports financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Planning & Forecasting
- Develop key performance metrics to inform business decisions.
- Provide variance analysis comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets, explaining key business drivers.
- Collaborate with regional and local leaders on annual venue budgets and staffing recommendations, including headcount adjustments based on market factors.
- Support Asset Management with decision-making on capital investments, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives.
- Create ad-hoc financial analyses and new business proformas; monitor financial risk.
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models to evaluate business scenarios, growth strategies, and cost optimization.
Reporting and Analysis
- Review profit and loss (P&L) performance with regional leaders to identify efficiencies and revenue opportunities.
- Analyze pricing and discounting strategies.
- Assist underperforming sites by identifying challenges and collaborating with Sales and Operations on corrective actions.
- Segment company, regional, and local site P&Ls to measure profitability and budget performance; highlight improvement opportunities and risks.
- Review individual event profitability to detect irregularities and emerging trends.
- Serve as a liaison between Operations and Finance.
- Streamline and standardize reporting tools, dashboards, and processes; partner with IT and other departments to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
- Support enterprise-wide initiatives including new technology or systems to enhance data and reporting.
- Provide financial expertise to on-site leaders without financial backgrounds to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Analyze cash flow and operating expenses to guide business decisions.
- Ensure accuracy of internal financial and KPI reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and financial planning tools such as Power BI; experience with NetSuite preferred.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a finance-related role.
- Experience in a multi-site and/or matrix organizational environment preferred.

- Base salary between $100,000 and $125,000 plus performance-based incentives.

Work Schedule & Travel
- Standard business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
