Overview

A leading organization in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech sector is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support financial discipline related to P&L visibility, margin improvement, and overall business performance. This role involves partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance planning processes, financial controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech industry.

Location: Remote (US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available)

Compensation: $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts across multiple business lines
  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate monthly close analysis and prepare board-ready reports
  • Support M&A activities including due diligence and integration modeling
  • Create KPI dashboards and operational reports to improve visibility into revenue and profitability
  • Utilize AI tools consistently to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of FP&A experience, preferably with a background in strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking
  • Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis with high attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; preference over Google Sheets
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse stakeholders
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with high executive visibility
  • Advanced knowledge of business intelligence tools and handling large data sets
  • Proficiency and creativity in leveraging AI to optimize work processes

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel and AI tools for financial analysis
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and KPI dashboard creation
  • Experience with sensitivity analysis tools, SQL databases, and financial modeling software such as Adaptive Insights
  • Knowledge of ETL tools for data integration and data visualization platforms like Tableau
