Overview
This freelance opportunity involves working as a Fixed Income Research AI Evaluator on a short-term engagement focused on prompt creation and evaluation within specialized finance use cases. The role requires applying fixed-income research expertise to assess and improve AI-generated outputs.
Responsibilities
- Create and evaluate complex AI prompts and responses related to fixed income research.
- Draft long-form prompts and review AI outputs for quality, accuracy, and logical consistency.
- Identify gaps, ambiguities, and edge cases in AI model reasoning across topics such as bond valuation, yield curve analysis, credit research, and rate sensitivity.
- Follow detailed guidelines and perform quality checks on your own work.
- Collaborate with program managers to ensure alignment on quality standards and data content.
- Ensure AI outputs are well-structured and meet expert-level expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- CFA designation is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fixed income research, credit analysis, rates strategy, or a related discipline.
- Deep knowledge of fixed-income instruments including government bonds, corporate bonds, structured products (ABS, MBS, CLOs), and credit derivatives.
- Familiarity with yield curve construction, duration and convexity analysis, spread analysis, and credit rating frameworks.
- Ability to work independently on detail-oriented tasks.
- Strong analytical and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in prompt writing, evaluation, or research is a plus.
Engagement Details
- Location: Remote (United States-based)
- Engagement Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor
- Duration: One week, 5 days at 7 hours per day. Participants may select which days to work but must be available for the full 7-hour block on any chosen day.
