Fund Accountant

Overview

This role offers the opportunity to work remotely within California. The organization is a leading provider of private market portfolio solutions, managing over $95 billion in assets across private equity, private credit, and infrastructure mandates. Founded in 1991, it develops and manages diversified portfolios of private market investments for institutional clients. The company is headquartered in California with additional offices in London, Rhode Island, and Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Record all accounting entries and reconcile them to the investment database for assigned funds of funds.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements.
• Prepare monthly roll-forward values and other specialized reports.
• Prepare work-paper support for year-end audits of funds of funds.
• Review and interpret quarterly financial statements of investment partnerships.
• Analyze activity in investment partnership accounts.
• Identify and analyze activity for capital accounts related to alternative investment vehicles used by investment partnerships.
• Record capital account information in the investment database.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• At least two years of professional accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting concepts.
• Ability to work overtime during quarterly peak cycles.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary range: $75,000 - $85,000.
• Generous health care and employee benefits package.
• Work schedule: 8 am - 5 pm daily, with overtime as needed.
