GLOBAL BUSINESS ANALYST - EAST COAST OR MIDWEST - REMOTE

Overview

This role supports the Global team for a single client, transforming complex financial and operational data into actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
• Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior-year results, identifying key drivers of variances.
• Develop financial models to evaluate business performance and investment opportunities.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs and recommend ways to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reporting packages for leadership and client stakeholders.

Data Analytics & Business Insights

• Use large datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.
• Conduct quantitative analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making.
• Translate financial and operational data into executive-level summaries and recommendations.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility into business performance.
• Partner with operations teams to validate assumptions and improve data accuracy.

Business Partnership

• Collaborate with operations, finance, and client teams to evaluate performance and support strategic initiatives.
• Provide analytical support for pricing, labor productivity, participation trends, and cost optimization.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership clearly and concisely.
• Support special projects and executive requests with quick turnaround times.

Requirements

• Based on the East Coast or Midwest.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Highly data-driven mindset with a passion for analytics and business improvement.
• Experience with Power BI, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, or similar BI platforms preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $100,000 to $110,000.
