Orion & Addepar Reporting Analyst

Overview

This role is part of the operations team and supports a client performance reporting platform (Orion). Responsibilities include ongoing system maintenance, data accuracy monitoring, performance reporting updates, advisor onboarding support, and process documentation for continued system support and compliance.

Responsibilities

System support and reporting

• Support new account set-up, including coding, linking to custodians, and ensuring proper reporting of all investments.
• Perform daily update and reconciliation activities.
• Monitor reporting and integration of alternative assets.
• Provide monthly performance updates.
• Proactively monitor dashboards to ensure system integrity and data accuracy.
• Develop custom templates and summary reports as needed.
• Serve as a point of contact for operations issues for advisor teams, custodians, and third-party solution providers.
• Maintain a working understanding of the metrics, calculations, key user workflows, and operational processes required for end-to-end maintenance of the reporting platform.
• Document required processes for ongoing system support.
• Participate in requirements gathering for ongoing system updates.
• Facilitate user integration and acceptance testing.

Advisor onboarding to the reporting platform

• Establish clients/accounts.
• Link to custodians.
• Convert history, including transactions, balances, and performance.
• Reconcile history conversion.
• Populate custom attributes.
• Create and test client packages with users.
• Ensure adequate internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Projects and continuous improvement

• Assist with improvement projects, ad-hoc projects, and assigned research projects.
• Maintain written procedures for all aspects of the position.
• Continuously improve initiatives to identify potential solutions and efficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Business or financial services preferred.
• Experience using Salesforce.
• 5–7 years’ experience in portfolio reporting and performance management software; Orion.
• Experience supporting client portfolio reporting, investment data management, or portfolio oversight within a wealth management or financial services environment.
• Proven self-starter with a track record of working effectively in a remote/virtual environment with a distributed team.
• Ability to “manage up” and have direct, open, and progressive conversations with Management and Partners across the firm.
• Appetite for analytical problem-solving and a solutions-oriented approach to opportunities and challenges.
• Team player who welcomes feedback with the goal of continuous improvement.
• Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to apply AI or advanced analytics tools to optimize reporting workflows and enhance decision-making.
• “No task is too small” mindset and willingness to complete whatever tasks are necessary to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in technology/applications is required; Excel experience required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation range: $90,000–$110,000
