Overview
A growing Tax Department is seeking an International Tax Manager to lead and support the organization's international tax functions. This role involves managing compliance, planning, and strategic initiatives related to international tax matters in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position reports to the Head of Tax & Treasury and offers remote work options within the U.S. or work from several U.S. office locations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee preparation, review, and timely filing of U.S. international tax compliance forms (e.g., Forms 5471, 8992, 926).
- Manage and review global transfer pricing documentation.
- Handle FDII, BEAT, and GILTI inclusions and related calculations for tax compliance, ASC 740, and strategic planning.
- Lead strategy, implementation, and ongoing compliance for BEPS Pillar Two and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR).
- Manage external tax service providers to meet compliance obligations efficiently, balancing internal and external resources.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement tax planning strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Support global compliance and reporting teams by overseeing local direct and indirect tax compliance filings as needed.
- Monitor developments in global tax legislation and assess potential impacts on the business.
- Participate in special projects such as establishing new legal entities and other corporate initiatives.
- Monitor and manage permanent establishment risk.
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions, including acquisition structuring and integration.
- Work closely with Treasury, Accounting, and Legal teams to manage intercompany funding requirements, including leverage planning, cash contributions, and repatriation strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in U.S. international corporate tax.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field.
- CPA, Master's degree, and/or JD in Tax or Accounting is a plus.
- Experience at a Big 4 firm and/or public company within the technology sector is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax stakeholders.
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to adopt AI platforms to enhance workflows, tax research, and team productivity.
- Strong relationship-building skills to foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $114,400 to $157,300 annually.
- Eligibility for equity compensation and/or bonus incentive compensation.
- Compensation is competitive and commensurate with skills, experience, education, and location.
Location
- Remote work from a U.S. location or from several physical offices within the U.S.
