  • Maintain audit-ready inventory controls by reviewing journal entries and reconciliations, overseeing physical counts, supporting quarterly reviews and the annual audit, and documenting conclusions on complex transactions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of accountants, including setting priorities, reviewing work, and ensuring accurate results delivered on time.
  • Improve inventory accounting processes by partnering with Operations, Finance, and systems teams to strengthen data accuracy, reduce manual effort, and use automation and AI-enabled tools where appropriate.

  • Hands-on knowledge of inventory valuation, COGS, landed costs, reserves, and inventory reconciliations.

  • Experience leading and developing accountants, with the ability to balance hands-on work and team management.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems and inventory management applications.
  • Strong analytical skills to investigate discrepancies, understand root causes, and explain drivers of changes in the numbers to the Controller, FP&A, and Operations partners.
  • A track record of improving accounting processes through better systems, automation, and data-driven workflows.
